I don’t like to brag but my dear hubby Mike has created the best tasting burger recipe…EVER!
Trust me, he’s been working on this for years…and I think he’s finally done it.
It’s tasty, juicy with heaps of flavor. You’ll be shocked by what he uses and how easy it is.
Here’s his recipe:
2 1/2 lbs of ground beef
3 heaping tablespoons of Blue cheese Dressing
1 1/2 tablespoons of McCormick Grill Mates -Molasses Bacon flavor
1 teaspoon of Garlic Salt
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
If you need to stay away from salt, omit the salt and garlic salt and use garlic powder.
Mix all ingredients together. Mike uses a potato masher first…then his hands to really blend it together well.
Make your patties. This recipe made us 6 big burgers that were nice and thick.
If you like them thinner, you’ll get a few more patties.
Put on a grill at medium heat, 7 minutes each side. (Less time if they are thinner).
Always cook ground beef until the pink on the inside is gone.
Once the cooking portion was done, Mike shuts off the grill, places sliced cheese on each patty, then closes the grill for an additional minute or so. This melts the cheese perfectly! He used provolone this time. You can use what ever cheese you fancy.
I swear these are delicious beyond belief. Try them and let me know what you think!
