It’s August 1st and time to get those deals lined up for back to school savings. There are many states that do not charge sales tax usually beginning on the first Friday of August and lasting a few days. Item’s exempt can range from shoes, clothes, school supplies and sometimes computers.
When looking at the list, when it says for example; “clothing – $100″ You must spend at least $100 to take advantage of the sales tax exemption.
Here is a list of which states that will be doing this. If your state isn’t on the list (like my state of Kansas), then there will be no tax exemptions in your state.
